Now that i'm starting to like the form, i figured it was time to do a proper colour change and use a colour scheme that i liked.
I started with a base colour of #20afa7 (which is blue-green ish), which is the main colour of my personal website and a lot of my work, and used kuler.adobe.com to create a monochromatic colour scheme based off this colour.
I choose to begin with a monochromatic colour scheme, as i found from my precedent research (and from my own personal preference) that i prefer work that is monochromatic or only a few amount of different colours.
I adapted it a little to include a colour that was a little more blue than the monochromatic colour scheme kuler feed me, just as personal preference so that there was a more defined difference between the forms of different colours.
Here's the result:
I prefer this to the red versions. The red version, while still looking alright, are far too intense to look at. Red is generally a very intense colour and draws a lot of attention. In contrast, this colour scheme is more relaxing and comfortable to view, and allows you to spend more time looking at the details, rather than being overwhelmed by the intense colouring.
