So i decided to push the landscape composition, as opposed to the portrait. I like that it allows me to have empty space to the side, which creates a more interesting composition.

I shall try and step through developments of my image over the next few posts..


In this test, I tried just simply changing a few of the forms into a blue colour.. As you can see, it really hasn't worked. Obviously applying colour takes a lot more than a quick switch. I decided after seeing this look terrible, that i would focus still on the form primarily, and slowly introduce a change in the colour scheme as i go.

In the next image (below) I began looking at a slight introduction of white lines, to create brighter parts in the image that will draw the viewers focus, and to create a more vivid contrast between the lines.

Then in this test, I began changing variables to try and create a more curved, flowing look, to try and make the composition much more dynamic.
