colour trials

Next up i did some colour trials. I wanted to add a little bit of subtle colour, to add more depth to the composition. I found i could simply tint parts of the image with colour like this...

Or i could change the colours in my initial character, and it would have a flow on effect to everything the character has been repeated in.

For example..

The colour choice is based off the colour set that i use for... well... most work i do at the moment. I think i'm stuck in a period where i only use these sort of blue/greens and red/oranges. However as it is something i enjoy, and it has been used throughout my work this semester, i decided to stick with it, as it means my work has a reoccurring element.

Anywho, i'll adapt the colour futher as i go and make sure it fits with the actual image, and not just my colour preference in general...
